In 2011, the Michigan State Spartans football team suffered a heartbreaking loss to conference challenger Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game.  The 3 point loss crushed the teams hopes of making it to the Rose Bowl game that year and put a damper on what was shaping up to be a historic season.  After a disappointing 2012, MSU rebounded in 2013 by dominating the Big Ten and once again playing for the conference championship.  That win led to the school’s first Rose Bowl appearance in 15 years and gave one group of Michigan State supporters an opportunity to make this inspirational hype video.

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio believed that his team deserved to be champions.  He knew that with a positive attitude and strong will, the football program would once again have a chance to achieve its goals.  In January 2014, goals became reality when the Michigan State Spartans beat the Stanford Cardinal in the Rose Bowl game 24-20.
